Grad night was yesterday!!! Everyone looked so pretty!!! It’s just like everyone went for a make over, especially my xue ling… hehe… if you want to see, you can go see si hui’s blog, try spotting any of us. Well, honestly it seemed as if everyone went for an extreme makeover. Cool yae… haha. Okay so now let me give you a detailed recount of what happened. :)

I had to wake up at 6.30a.m cause I had piano at like 8a.m. Left the house at around 7a.m but I was still late you know, very late in fact. But oh well the lesson was very short cause ya, my teacher had to rush off somewhere. Kinda liked that part actually. Haha…so anyway rushed home, took a quick bath, bathed myself in dove, oh man I smelt good, but in fact I always smell good… haha. Okay so went over to the bus stop at 10.15 to meet cindy, xue ling and si hui.

Then we walked back to my house and got them settled and then we started painting the photo frames for our cca teachers! Haha… oh and we made some really last minute decision. Initially we decided to put on make up ourselves, but come yesterday they all said their mums wanted them to let the hairdresser put on the make up for them instead. So ya… after much hassle, my mum said that her friends could make up for us free of charge… cool yae… so instead of meeting the hairdresser at 11, we called at and changed the appointment to 1p.m instead. So we ordered pizzas from pizza hut and my mum decided to treat them… :) oh, we lunched outside my house, as in literally at the corridor, next to my shoe rack to be specific. But somehow cindy they all didn’t say anything bout eating next to the shoe rack, well maybe cause it was me basically sitting next to it, so ya… haha. Anyway my mum moved it away in the end. Hehe… oh and instead of the usual unhealthy pepsi, we had pizza with orange/apple juice, and it was delicious… haha, well no need to get jealous… ;)

Afterward, si hui had to help push my contacts in again… haha… this time with the help of xue ling to pull open my eyelids… so ya, my mum was kinda grossed out actually… haha… so anyway had to change into my top cause I kinda predicted I wouldn’t be able to fit it in once my hair was done. And I was right in fact… so we threw all the make up into a bag and went out of the house. We found the hair dresser already waiting for us… and ya I went first. She plaited my hair and did quite some stuff which I found rather complicating so can’t put it into words, oh and I had quite a few fries on my head, I mean she had this machine which can curl your hair or have those patterns temporarily, so ya, that’s what she did for my hair… anyway if you wanna look, can go see si hui’s blog, yup yup, she also sprayed copper red temporary dye, so my head was basically brown with a red tint. Cool yae… cindy said I looked like the sun goddess… sheesh… I wonder if she’s (sun goddess) insulted. I was so shocked by my own hairstyle when I saw it I was speechless. I looked… … basically just not me lar…

Then it was xue ling’s turn, man, xue ling looked totally different from her actual self, in fact she looked awesome, really, if you didn’t see her do her hair, you won’t even know it’s her. She honestly for once, looks stunning… so we paid $18 for our hair and I’m proud of it. Really I am.

We then went down to the florist shop where my mums friends were there to get our make up on. Xue ling did hers first while me and my mum went about buying eyebrow pencil and cotton buds which we do already possess at home but did not bring down… so ya… after the make up, xue ling looked gorgeous… really, it’s a 360 degree change of xue ling. No one would recognize her really… so it was my turn.

The make up was nice, but I looked horrid, or at least I thought so… I don’t know… but ya… just weird lar… anyway gotta really thank my mum for being soooo sweet yesterday, oh man, that was the sweetest I’ve ever seen her… and to the aunts who help, thank you soo much, they didn’t even charge us… :)

So anyway, we waited for cindy, si hui and mei yi to come down, but then we realize we were running short of time, so we got cindy down, it was amazing she didn’t lose her way. Hehe. Okay, cindy looked stunning as usual, and she had aluminium foil on her head!!! Haha… can go see the pics on si hui’s blog for a closer look and more vivid description. So cindy looked beautiful after the make up and both she and xue ling went back to prepare first cause we were really running behind schedule. After much phone calls, we managed to get si hui and mei yi down, somehow there was just some confusion at the hair dressers… so anyway I was just astounded to see both of them, especially si hui, she looked so feminine for once, as for mei yi, she looks gorgeous as usual. While putting on make up for mei yi, all the aunties were just praising her cause she’s just so pretty… si hui too… okay in fact everyone was pretty(maybe except for me…*sobs*) but anyway, we manage to scramble out of the shop by 3.40 and flagged down a cab for mei yi and ran back to my house.

Cindy and xue ling had more or less prepared. So we hurried and put on our clothes. We did some frantic putting on of accessories and poof! We were out of the house.

And guess what, when we arrived, we were early! And one of the earliest! Sheesh, had we known, we would have taken more time and won’t sweat… you know we were just sweating like pigs while frantically trying to get a cab… but the advantage was we could take quite a few pictures… and those people who said they’ll laugh at us, in fact didn’t really laugh… so ya… I suppose amazed and stunned by our beauty… haha…

And nearly everyone was late… so irritating lor, it’s always like that, every time I rush for something, I always turn out to be extra early… jeez… okay now for the actual thing. We had to listen really carefully to Mr hamzah cause we basically didn’t want him screaming, but ya, the people at the door just weren’t helping. Oh and it was like 6.15++ but mei yi still wasn’t there and we were damn worried… as in really worried, but she made it… bertina was even later but thank goodness she still could go up stage.

Mei yi didn’t go up in the end, she felt too weak to, poor girl, she looked fabulous really… but anyway, better than she faint on stage. So after the whole talk and all… they had the Miss SAC pegeant… constance was our class miss SAC!!! *cheers loudly* so ya… after the whole thing, everyone was just busy taking photos photos and more photos… by the time we actually went to the lobby, there was hardly any food left! Haha… anyway that’s all I can update for now, gotta go for tuition… come back with more details soon!
